Morgan appeared in Morgan was featured in a Safe Sex for Men and Women educational video that focused on AIDS prevention and education. Part of the proceeds was donated towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan serves as a participant of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan spearheaded other fund raising initiatives and gave a testimony on a Congressional panel discussing AIDS awareness. Morgan is on the board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar. The former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop has requested her to be his substitute at AIDS events and she has been the host of an AIDS Awareness Special featuring anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice on Nightline about AIDS. Morgan is nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially for Morgan. In the spring she co-starred with Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. Then, she began the summer season with Murder At The PTA Luncheon produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. Also, it had Cindy Williams and Marla gibbs. Her next project brought Morgan to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady that also featured Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan was also in the psychological thriller which was produced exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the highest ratings ever recorded by the network's history.
